My research focuses on emotional expression and perception, with a particular interest in facial mimicry and its role in emotional communication. I investigate how social and contextual factors, as well as perceptual features such as face orientation and dynamic expressions, influence facial mimicry. To address these questions, I employ a combination of behavioral experiments and psychophysiological methods, including facial electromyography (EMG), to capture subtle changes in facial muscle activity.
