Kavel Ozturk, M.Sc.

Kavel Ozturk received a MSc degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Amsterdam. During his study, he conducted research with both wild and captive primates. For his master thesis he studied the social and temporal cognitive abilities of mandrills at ARTIS Amsterdam Royal Zoo. Furthermore, during his master he investigated the cascading effects of chimpanzee nesting activity on local dung beetle communities.

In the CoPAN lab, Kavel assisted in various ongoing research projects with great apes.
