Professor at Leiden University

Primatologists in discussion. The Netherlands meets Japan.

• Insight in the evolution of human cognition can be obtained through research with apes.

• Only humans have emotions.

• In Japan, robots have a soul.

These and more theses will be discussed by the Japanese and Dutch primatologists Tetsuro Matsuzawa and Jan van Hooff in the special ambience of the Leiden SieboldHuis.

The discussion evening welcomes a broad and interested public and will take place on March 8, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Rapenburg 19 in Leiden. Participation in this event is free.

Although it is not yet March, we would still like to ask you to already subscribe here so that we can investigate alternative locations in case of an extremely great interest. Two weeks before the event we will contact you to verify whether you are still planning to come.
Thanks in advance!
